I wanted to design something that would pay homage to the Ferment sculpture at the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City.  My father is a retired sheet metal worker.  During my childhood, he, my brother and I spent many days playing with pop-rivets.  We would rivet random pieces of scrap metal together, and I wanted to pay homage to that as well.
Materials or Construction
The heart would be covered in square or rectangular aluminum plates of different sizes, each with a different luster.  Each plate would be attached with rivets.
